In Hawaiian, hoʻopili doesn't just mean physical closeness. It means choosing to be together — keeping ohana within reach, building a life with people you know by name, and making space for the kind of community that doesn't happen by accident.
When developers planned this West Oahu community, they didn't pick the name lightly. Every street, park, and walking path was designed to make connection easier — to bring grandparents within walking distance of grandkids, to put schools where kids could bike to them, to plant gathering spaces between homes instead of fences.
